Sint Maarten On The Move: 27/28 October 2016
The Latin American and Caribbean Internet Addresses Registry (LACNIC) in collaboration with the Internet Society are pleased to announce “Sint Maarten On the Move” - a premier Internet event, which will be held in Philipsburg, St Maarten from 27 to 28 October 2016 at the Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort, Casino & Spa. “Sint Maarten On the Move” is being brought to you under the kind auspices of the Bureau Telecommunications and Post St. Maarten.
“Sint Maarten On the Move” aims to foster dialogue with you - the local Internet community - about the global Internet ecosystem, Internet resources and other related themes. Regional experts will conduct seminars and workshops on cyber security, IPv4 exhaustion & IPv6 adoption, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), Internet Governance, and much more.
“Sint Maarten On the Move” will be part of a week of activities known as “Internet Week Sint Maarten.” The week begins with the 12th Regional Meeting of the Caribbean Network Operators’ Group (CaribNOG12) from 24 to 26 October 2016. Both events are geared towards a broad profile of stakeholders including policymakers, regulators, students, academic staff, journalists, bloggers, and other interested parties.
