Curaçao 2019
The first edition of LACNIC On the Move 2019 will take place on 3 to 5 of July at Sunscape Curaçao, Resort, SPA & Casino. The initiative will be hosted by Bureau Telecommunication & Post.
This event will focus on sharing information, experiences and best practices in BGP, DNS, IPv6 deployment, as well as key Internet network security and stability issues currently under discussion.
LACNIC On the Move Curaçao will be held jointly with the Amparo Workshop, which focuses on the creation of cybersecurity incident response teams. This training mainly involves building capacity for the creation and operation of Computer Emergency Response Teams (CSIRTs), spreading know-now and reaching out to the community. We will work in building and strengthening capacities in different areas, including: What does creating a CSIRT mean? Which services it provides and basic steps to get started.
The conference is meant for all members of LACNIC and other Internet users, network administrators, security officers, and other ICT specialists.
